8 Medals at World and State championships for Douglas Santos’ Team in Brazil!

With Stuart Mitchell winning the Santa Catarina State Championships and Noel Thompson winning the World Championship in Masters and Senior divisions.

The team performed extremely well, winning 3 golds , 3 silver and 2 bronze in total.

Congratulations to the team for their great performances after their 2 weeks training camp at ATAQUE DUPLO HQ in Florianopolis.

Following the success of the trip Douglas Santos gave a seminar at HQ for the elite of the team in a 4 hour seminar.

During his stay in Brazil Douglas was awarded with his third black belt stripe.

Your first Jiu Jitsu FREE introductory class

The introductory class is a one-time 30 min class outlining the basics governing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu theory. This class serves as a preparatory class to those interested in seriously enrolling at the academy and training at least twice a week. Visit timetable.

Our introductory classes are offered everyday to fit the busiest of schedules.

Enrollees should show up at least 15 minutes prior to the introductory class time with athletic wear (ie shorts or sweatpants and shirt). For the BJJ classes it is compulsory for all students to wear BJJ Gi’s (Kimonos) in blue or white colour only.
